Frequently asked questions
Does continuous backup slow my computer down?
No. CloudySeat uploads only the changed portions of a file and throttles itself around your active work, so you rarely notice it running.
What happens when I go offline?
Changes are queued locally and safely synced the next time you reconnect — nothing is skipped.
Can I exclude certain folders?
Absolutely. You choose exactly what is backed up and can add or remove folders at any time.
How far back can I restore?
Every account keeps a rolling history, and paid plans extend recovery windows up to unlimited retention.
